On July 4, 2015 Sch. Henry Angupa II made his perpetual profession of vows together with another Vietnamese Camillian scholastic in the presence of the Taiwan Delegation, Provincial Superior Fr. Rolando J. Fernandez, MI, and Fr. Eric Tampis from the Philippines. Some Filipino friends of Sch. Henry witnessed the profession of vows that was incorporated in the Holy Eucharist.
It was another day of celebration when he was ordained a deacon by Archbishop of Taipei, Mons. John Hung on Aug. 9, 2015.
Rev. Henry’s mother, sister, other friends and acquaintances flew from the Philippines to attend the joyful occasion. Father Robert Chua, MI, and Sch. Jec Cabarles were also there to give him moral support.
The liturgy was very beautiful with Chinese and English prayers and songs.
Rev. Henry finished his Theological course last year and has been in Taiwan since the latter half of 2015 for his pastoral year. He has already spent a year taking the Chinese language course, which he will complete for two years.
Every weekend Rev. Henry comes to Lotung to do his apostolate among the aboriginal people especially with the youth.
CONGRATULATIONS, Rev. Henry!
